The Intro Course is a 4 week | 4 weekend course where all students must begin to learn the foundation of makeup artistry & business, the AMA way.

From an artistry perspective, students will learn:

• Building your makeup kit
• Understanding product & product placement
• Learning skin types & color theory
• Mastering makeup artistry techniques

From a business perspective, students will learn:

• Artist etiquette & professionalism
• Building your personal brand
• Content creation best practices to land your next client

This course is offered on a:

• Weekend Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 8AM-2PM
• Day Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8AM-12PM
• Night Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6PM-10PM

The Freelance Program is a 6 week | 7 weekend course that includes the first 4 weeks from the Intro Course and an additional 2 weeks of artistry education diving into the world of soft glam bridal.

• A soft bridal glam
• A bridesmaids glam
• A mother of the bride glam

From a business perspective, students will learn:

• Artist etiquette & professionalism
• Building your personal brand
• Content creation best practices to land your next client

The Master Program is designed to prepare you for the ultimate success as a professional makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur. Enrolling into our Master Program means you will be enrolled into our entire semester, investing 140 hours into your education and artistry.

• Fundamentals from the Intro Course
• 3 soft glam bridal looks from the Freelance program
• 3 full glam bridal looks (from American bridal to international bridal)

From a business perspective, students will learn:

• Artist etiquette & professionalism

• Turning leads into clients
• Creating a proper contract
• Becoming an LLC
• Planning your goals & next steps as a professional makeup artist

Students enrolled into this program will leave with:

• 1 professional headshot
• 1 portfolio day of their final work

We recommend all aspiring makeup artists enroll into our Master Program. This is a 3-month program that will leave you feeling prepared to enter the beauty industry. In the Master Program, you will learn the makeup fundamentals while mastering appointment glams, soft glam bridal looks, and full glam bridal looks. From a business standpoint, you will learn everything from content creation to landing your clients and becoming an LLC. For Master Program students ONLY, you will receive a professional headshot and professional portfolio building photoshoot day.

AMA Artist Makeup Academy offers flexibility with payment plans. We have a $500 registration fee that is not included in tuition, and it is non-transferable and non-refundable. Once the $500 fee is paid to reserve your seat for class, tuition can be paid how you wish in terms of payment and frequency amounts. The one requirement is that your tuition must be paid in FULL two weeks before your course/program ends. For those interested in a payment plan, we do offer in-house financing plans.

AMA Artist Makeup Academy provides a certificate of completion after you complete your course or program. We are the only makeup academy that provides a graduation ceremony as we truly believe makeup artistry is a career, and it is milestone that deserves to be celebrated with family and friends.

Yes, proof of certificate will allow you to receive professional discounts for the makeup brands that offer a Pro Artist discount.

AMA Artist Makeup Academy cannot guarantee job placements. However, we have a private AMA Alumni Group of 200+ makeup artists that share job opportunities and the latest news in the industry. It is a great way to network within the AMA family!

Upon graduation, you will be added to our AMA Alumni group where you can connect with other AMA students who have graduated from AMA. Additionally, by joining our community newsletter, you can stay in the know of upcoming community events, business classes, content days, makeup artistry workshops, and more - both paid and free.
