AMA FOUNDER
With 20 years of experience in the beauty industry and 13 years as an entrepreneur, Juliette Collazo is the proud founder of AMA Artist Makeup Academy. It was in 2005 when Juliette first started her career as a makeup artist. She was passionate about her craft and hustled her way up until she began to work on set for celebrity clients, corporate organizations, and later being known as the Queen of Transformations in the bridal world.
After almost 10 years of working in the industry, Juliette discovered a void, and it was a void that she was determined to fill: developing business-oriented, professional makeup artists. AMA Artist Makeup Academy was born in 2013. AMA educates, elevates, and empowers makeup artists to master their talent in makeup artistry while learning how to turn that passion into a full-time career. It is Juliette's goal not to build just makeup artists, but to build beauty entrepreneurs.
MEET OUR STAFF
LZ
LZ is the Director of Business Operations. She works hand in hand with Juliette to perfect the AMA experience and seize opportunities for brand expansion. Having a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and being a former L'Oréal employee, LZ is passionate about taking small businesses to new heights from a branding perspective.
Ashley B
Ashley B leads our Admissions department at AMA, and will be your direct point of contact for all your admissions needs. Being a past AMA student turned AMA educator, and now working with the team full-time, she is dedicated to guiding aspiring makeup artists to achieve their dreams within the beauty industry.
Alania
Alania is AMA's Social Media Manager. She began her journey as an AMA student in 2024, and quickly fell in love with content creation at AMA. She loves that she can now inspire aspiring makeup artists through AMA's []engaging and transformative content.
Andrea
Andrea leads bridal coordination for AMA Weddings. She is a proud AMA Pro Artist on our AMA Weddings team since 2021, and now works on our team full-time managing all of AMA Weddings.

Andrea
After graduating AMA in 2020, Andrea worked her way up to becoming an AMA educator. Having 6+ years of experience across the celebrity and bridal world, she is grateful to share her love for makeup with the next generation of artists, all while continuing to grow her own skills.
Nathaly
Nathaly is a talented makeup artist with 6 years of experience working in the beauty industry. After graduating AMA, she worked her way up to becoming an AMA educator in 2023 where she has found her passion for inspiring others in their beauty journeys.
Kiana
Kiana is an AMA alumni who has been an AMA educator for the past 3 years. She deeply values the opportunity to help other artists achieve their goals in their beauty career, and hopes to inspire students through her passion for the industry.
Jenna
Jenna was one of our first AMA students, over 10 years ago! She specializes in both editorial looks and natural makeup with creative pops of color. Jenna thrives on making the makeup experience enjoyable and giving students grace as they explore their passion for makeup artistry.
